I am an assistant professor in philosophy at. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill . Before coming to Chapel Hill, I was an assistant professor of philosophy at Arizona State University and a Bersoff Fellow at New York University. I work mainly in philosophy of mind and metaphysics.
Since the fall of 2011, I have been an assistant professor in the philosophy department. My main research interests are in ancient philosophy, with special interests in Aristotelian natural philosophy and philosophy of science, ancient medicine, and the history and philosophy of biology.
